The model

A site you do not have to babysit.

A $30 software stack is a typical monthly tool bill. You already have hosting. Hello Due is a shop that can throw off that $30 without becoming a second job.

The math

Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad keep roughly 5–10%. Price as if you keep 90%. Two Client Kit sales is $38 before fees — enough for a $30 software bill with a little left for the domain.

ProductPriceSales / month
Invoice Pack$123
Client Kitdesign centre$192
Quiet Playbook$292
The Keep$491

At a 2% conversion, two sales means about 100 product-page visits. That is a few hundred site visits, not a media company.

Why this shape

  1. Free tools with search demand. People already type "freelance rate calculator" and "invoice template." The tools are the storefront. You do not have to post to remind people you exist.
  2. Files sold at a buying moment. Independents buy a proposal template the week a client says yes, not while scrolling a feed. Price the middle product so two of those moments cover the bill.
  3. No accounts. Accounts are maintenance. Drafts live on the device. Checkout happens on Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy. You already have hosting — do not add a database for vanity.

Traffic that compounds

  • Submit the tools to directories once. AlternativeTo, Indie Hackers Tools, Sidebar, and a handful of freelancer roundups. A Saturday.
  • Write one useful post — the pricing math, not a launch thread — and put it on Indie Hackers, r/sideproject, and r/freelance. Answer comments. Then stop.
  • Connect Search Console. Once a month, change one title that almost ranks. That is the whole content habit.

Skip a newsletter until the shop sells without one. A list you have to feed is the opposite of low maintenance.

Connect payments

Create the four products on Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad. Paste each checkout URL into Desk. Buy buttons will leave this site and come back with a receipt. Until then, Preview unlock shows you the files so you know what you are selling.

The rest is in the pack

The $29 Quiet Playbook is this model written down: the 12-week calendar at two hours a week, directory blurbs, post templates, and the monthly 45-minute checklist. One sale almost covers a $30 software bill on its own.
